This intermediate course teaches how to expand  your backcountry understanding and skill set in the mountains. 

 

This course is designed for intermediate level riders and covers the following learning outcomes:

- Assessment of rider skills & knowledge base

- BC 101 avalanche knowledge focus 

- Backcountry travel, transitions and skill building

- Terrain management and riding skills on slopes over 35 degrees

- Small group dynamics, communication & decision making

Time: 8-10 hours

Cost: $150 p.p.

Group size: 6:1 / Co-ed groups
