SPLITBOARD MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
With 3 decades of splitboarding experience & leadership in continued education programs, I have created a winter long, multi-session mentorship for splitboarders. This progressive course takes you from intermediate skills to multi-day trip planning through the winter/spring. In each session gap, you will follow an independent learning track to fulfill your path of progression.

SESSION ONE
Your journey of progression begins here. This session gets you primed & prepared for the backcountry. I evaluate your level of knowledge and skills base and build from here.

SESSION FOUR
In this session, we put everything together: what you've learned so far, evaluate your progression and fill any gaps in your performance. You will have the freedom to create your tour and I will shadow your plan.

SESSION TWO
This session is about immersion in the mountain environment with a focus on the science of snow and the avalanche phenomenon. We will work with an additional avalanche professional to teach important avalanche understanding, techniques, & practice.

SESSION FIVE
Session five is where we take it up a notch or two and enter the world of splitboard mountaineering. We will venture into steeper terrain to apply understanding, technical skills & practice.

SESSION THREE
In this session, we work on the importance of team building, merging objectives, personalities and function as one in the backcountry.

SESSION SIX
In your final session, we will discus, plan & conduct the 2-day camping trip and utilize all the skills, knowledge base and understanding of what the course has provided. We will coalesce to have an amazing outing and finish to your mentorship.
